What is Be Good?
Be Good is a group of Mother Earth’s guardians who advocate for sustainable living and a responsible fashion and lifestyle industry! Our platform is driven towards reversing the effects of the climate crisis by highlighting mindful brands that share our values of safeguarding the planet while helping you live your best life. We aim to inspire you to adopt simple, everyday changes and make informed buying decisions, guiding you through the intricate landscape of ethical and eco-conscious lifestyles.
Our Founder
I am Swapnil Pate, the co-founder of BeGood.eco and my life has been unconventional for the most part as I had no clue about my future and career prospects. While I was in college I developed some interest in the world of computers and the internet, however, I was not good at programming. This led me to explore the world of internet marketing.
During my early schooling days, I was exposed to the Clean Mutha river campaign organized by Mr. Vinod Bodhankar, the joint director of the Sagar Mitra Abhiyaan. This was where I first realized how we as humans aren’t doing enough for the well-being of our Mother Earth and the valuable resources we have been offered.
Over the years, I have spent time volunteering as an English teacher at local villages in the Raigad district and then transitioned to teaching SEO to over 1,000 students from all over India. I am an advocate of the circular economy which is why I donate my old books and preloved garments to the needy in my community. My goal is to be an active member of the growing sustainability movement and contribute to a positive future where we can all thrive.
It took me a while to learn how sustainability and eco-friendliness can help us lead a more rewarding life as we do our part for the planet we call Home. That’s why as a part of my giving back initiative I started Be Good to educate people about sustainability.
My goal through Be Good is to empower the current generation by spreading the word about living a more sustainable and ethical life, with whatever little contribution you can make as an aware individual.
